About Me

I am Syed (or Shan) Karimushan

I am a photographer based in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania and I cover a wide range ... sports, wildlife, senior portraits, family photos, graduation sessions, headshots, products, events, theatre - you name it.

Although the studio idea is new, I am not new to photography. I have many years of experience in various shooting situations, both indoors and outdoors.

Why choose me over so many other photographers out there?

I bring a style of photography that puts you in the center. I pay attention to details and take great care in doing the job. I don't like hastily done shots, so I won't rush through a session just to squeeze in another one immediately afterwards. I go for quality, not quantity.I strive to make it a pleasant experience for you. It's your time and money, don't settle for something average.I want my photos to speak for themselves. Check out my senior portraits and sample albums, and let me know if you want to book a session or two.

Please contact me if you have specific photography needs.

Outside of the photography work...

I work as a database analyst/programmer in Engineering IT at Penn State. I take tons of sports and event photos for the Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District. I am the co-chair of Philipsburg Heritage Days and also volunteer for the Moshannon Valley YMCA's Student Youth Theatre Program. When time and weather permit, I spend quality time with my camera and wildlife at the Cold Stream Dam.
